Bayern Munich have officially confirmed the signing of Ismael Saibari from PSV Eindhoven, completing a deal that brings the Moroccan international to the Bundesliga champions on a long-term deal.
The 25-year-old has put pen to paper on a five-year contract that runs until June 30, 2031, and he will wear the number 34 shirt in Munich.
Saibari will not link up with his new teammates straight away, as he is currently on international duty with Morocco at the 2026 FIFA World Cup, with the move set to be finalised once the tournament ends.
Born in Terrassa, Spain, and raised in Belgium, Saibari holds triple Moroccan, Spanish and Belgian citizenship, a background that reflects his winding footballing journey before settling on international duty with Morocco.
The attacking midfielder leaves PSV Eindhoven as one of the club's most reliable performers of recent seasons, having become a key figure in their squad.
Across 142 competitive appearances for PSV, Saibari registered 42 goals and 29 assists, numbers that highlight both his eye for goal from midfield and his creative influence in the final third.
His ability to operate centrally or from the flank as an attacking midfielder or forward gives Bayern additional tactical flexibility going into the new campaign.
The signing adds further depth and creativity to Bayern's attacking options as the club looks to strengthen behind the front line ahead of the upcoming season.
For now, Saibari's attention remains on Morocco's World Cup campaign, with his official arrival in Munich and integration into pre-season training to follow once his international commitments are complete.
